Founded by Kailee Freitas of Mahina Made, Hoʻomau Market was created to give Native Hawaiian and local makers a platform to thrive — and to make sure shoppers could support them directly.
The word “Hoʻomau” means to persevere, and that intention runs through every piece, product, and experience you’ll find there. It’s truly a family effort: Kailee’s husband Logan, close friends, and the “Aunties of Aloha” help bring each event to life. What started small has grown into one of the most anticipated maker events in Hawaiʻi — and it’s still rooted in community and connection.
